( lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo), pangolin, caracal, hirax, whales, penguin, seals, over 900 classified species of birds , 6000 different spiders and more than 100 varieties of snakes. South Africa has the world’s richiest floral kingdom, with 23 000 different “fynbos” plants, making it the richiest zone on earth in terms of endemic species to area. All that makes South Africa a very important example for biodiversity. |
